With Samsung being headquartered in South Korea it should be no surprise that Samsung will be a huge sponsor of the upcoming Olympics in South Korea.
Samsung has started is sponsorship by making a special version of the Samsung Note 8 for Olympians.
Samsung however has announced that it will also sponsor the Olympics in a very green recyclable way. Sitting in Samsung warehouses are millions of irreparable Samsung Note 7 phones. Samsung spokesman John “We Didn’t Start The Fire” Suong, head of the Note 7 Recovery Division, told us “We are partnering with the Olympics to provide Olympic torches to use in the symbolic run and at ceremonies. Think of the Note 7 as an e-torch for the 21st century.”
